HOW WE USE AND VERIFY SOURCES
Official and primary sources remain the verification standard. Reuters and AP provide independent reporting. ISW and the other analytical organizations provide attributed context.
CENTCOM operational statements are labeled OFFICIAL CLAIM unless independently corroborated. Official Houthi statements are identified specifically as claims. Attribution identifies who made a statement; it does not independently confirm the event described.
OSINT and event-discovery sources are treated as leads until corroborated. Monitored commentary channels are labeled as commentary and are never presented as authoritative evidence.
Only sources actually reviewed and used in a brief appear on its source slide or in its description.
